As near as I can tell

card

Sample score card, perhaps these are turned in each round

1 Point per second of flight time

So for a 6 minute Task

Max would be 360 seconds.

1 second deducted for each second over 6 Minutes or the task time, which is determined before hand based on conditions

So lets see if I got this

If I make 5 Min 30 s (330sec) of my 6 min task I get 1000 pts, and the ratio of 1000 pt / 330 is 3.03. Of course assuming my time is the best time of the Group

This is what is referred to as normalizing on and scores from other pilots in the Round are weighted using this factor

Thus to move up the other scores of those in the group all points are multiplied by 3.03
A 5 min rd (300 sec ) would be 300 x 3.03 = 909 points

Of course the landing Points would still need to be added

Landing

The landing circle will consist of a 10 meter tape marked in 1 meter increments.
–  The score will be graduated by 5 points per meter. Landing within 1 meter of the spot earns a score of 50
points. Landing beyond 10 meters from the spot earns a score of 0 points.
–  Landing points will be measured from the center of the landing circle to the nose of the aircraft,
–   No landing points will be given if the plane sustains significant damage during the landing and, in the
opinion of the contest director or his designate, is not safely flyable.
–   No landing points will be given if the model aircraft touches either the pilot or his helper during the landing
Perhaps to make things easier  two sets of points for landings
  •  5 ft or less         50 points
  • 25 ft  – 5 ft          25 points
