Well after nearly a week of planning using all available weather channels, the day finally arrived.
6 A.M. in the morning found the ground covered with frost and the trusty analog thermometer read -2 Deg burr..
Soon a couple rolling hangers arrived and disgorged their contents, planes, planes, planes, there where quite a few of them . They were soon assembled and ready to go.
At this point, oh I suppose 9 A.M the sun was up nicely and the windsock indicated favorable breezes from the north, that would put us at the south end of the field wide open and up against the treeline.
Andrew S was 1st out, and of his Pulsar goes
Followed by John, who seemed to be concentrating on looking where to throw his.
Is he seeing something he’s not talking about? 🙂 🙂
and there goes his Pulsar off to the North East .. Huuuum
Elio incoming, taking part in the only Contest of the day hit the pillow case.
Getting closer, this was actually a practice run, I would get down to business later when the others arrived from Halifax, or no one would believe me. lol
There’s the pillow case and obviously I missed it.
Thanks to the Balmoral Motel for supplying these a while back. I found a use for them, they will clean up though If you’d like them back 🙂 🙂
Late arrivals Steve and Andrew C, flying boxes, jets, fun cubs, wings and a Sailplane in there somewhere. Did I miss anything?
Discussing the Fine Art of Coyote tossing. I wanted no part of pressing the IBM gas pedal and having Steve steer. So, Steve was up for it. Fine job Steve 🙂
Steve`s Coyote on a winch, it went up well got a tow.
There it goes rather flat and straight ahead
Soaring, apparently it likes slopes
I thought I saw a Coyote in the woods.
Nope here it is and touch down, nowhere near the pillow 10 points for Artistic Impression none for accuracy, the pillow case is over there LOL.
Returning with the Winch line. Cameras everywhere

Reinforcements, an eagle joins the party, were they tuning Andrew S’s electronics or are those Pulsars leading the way
It’s all in the details planes, water and bug spray, homebrew mix, citronella oil , olive oil and rubbing alcohol. Ask Steve how well it works 🙂
