Well after nearly a week of planning using all available weather channels, the day finally arrived.

 

 

P11509896 A.M. in the morning found the ground covered with frost and the trusty analog thermometer read -2 Deg  burr..

DSCN6831Soon a couple rolling hangers arrived and disgorged their contents, planes, planes, planes, there where quite a few of them . They were soon assembled and ready to go.

DSCN6832At this point, oh I suppose 9 A.M the sun was up nicely and the windsock indicated favorable breezes from the north, that would put us at the south end of the field wide open and up against the treeline.
