Finally the Colors are back.
There have been some warmish days lately, yesterday it was over 20 Degrees. Still good opportunity for some early fall flying.
I was out last evening shortly before six. Launching towards the south I got 4 flights each around 5 minutes.
On the evening of the 7th I launched the Falcon 880 and got three flights of 5 minutes, and the following night an hour later got flights of 9 min and 7 minutes with the Supra
Had some fun on Saturday, looking over a nicely built winch, and a Victory Sailplane. The Victory was supplied by Northeast Sailplanes, and it sure looks like a Falcon 880, other then the fuse is narrower and the tips have no polyhedral.
I look forward to seeing it fly, interestingly we put it on the scale and it weighed the same as the 880 minus a 4 cell nicad pack 🙂 . There will be more opportunities to fly later this month.
I note Nov 13 last year I flew the Elio and had a 11 minute flight
Meanwhile I’ve got an eye out for these fellas, they’re out there just making their rounds a little later this year
