‘Twas the night before Christmas, in my model sailplane room,
Not an airplane was stirring, all hung by the boom.
The wings were placed at the wall with care,
In hopes that come morning, a thermal would dare.
The hi starts and winches, all placed in their spots,
With wind gusts from 3 to 5 knots.
I sat at my build board, glue bottle in hand,
And wondered dreamingly , about the next planes wing span.
When the sky above opened up with great lift
I turned and focused , the toss was real swift
The plane went up, thermalling out it was clear
Merry Christmas to all , and Happy New Year
