The Invader Iv RES Plane with flaps , not flaperons .
Perhaps Flaperons where not in vogue 40 years ago.
Flaps enable you to dial in a little reflex, camber for lift in thermals But the two wing surfaces are tied together thru the linkage in the fuselage which is controlled by one servo.
This plane doesn’t have ailerons, roll control is left to what the rudder does for you.
Wouldn’t it be nice to separate the flaps and have flaperons for roll control.
Two servos either in the fuse or one in each wing.
Flaperons proved to be very effective on the recently built Osprey 900, a deviation from the original plans and well worth the extra work
